Mickie James


Mickie Laree James (born August 31, 1979) is a professional wrestler and country singer from the United States. She currently works for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and Impact Wrestling, where she is in her fourth reign as the Impact Knockouts World Champion.

James began her professional wrestling career as a valet on the independent circuit in 1999, under the name Alexis Laree.

he honed her wrestling skills at many camps before signing with NWA: Total Nonstop Action (NWA: TNA, then Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, now Impact Wrestling) in 2002, where she rose to national prominence.

She joined a stable called The Gathering after only a few appearances and was placed into tales with the group. She is the sole female participant.

Early years

Stuart James, a retired wastewater-treatment worker, gardener, and VAIL League Division 3 Championship coach, and Sandra Knuckles, a teacher and real-estate agent, gave birth to James at Richmond Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

When she was a child, her parents divorced. She has three stepbrothers, a sister, a half-sister, and a half-brother. She attended Patrick Henry High School in Montpelier, Virginia, and graduated in 1997. She spent a lot of her childhood on her grandmother's horse farm, where she developed a strong interest in equestrian activities. She has been playing the violin for five years. [16 James is a member of the Powhatan tribe of Native Americans. From 1999 to 2003, the circuit was self-contained.  James has been a fan of professional wrestling since he was a child.
